Bed bugs hide deep in narrow cracks and crevices, can live without feeding
for a over a year and wander between adjoining apartments through voids in
the walls and through holes around shared conduits--like plumbing pipes,
heating, vents and electrical wiring. Eliminating all voids eliminates
the possibility of bed bugs gaining access to your apartment from

First we’ll vacuum the entire apartment using HEPA vacs-paying extra
attention to the baseboard molding, cracks and crevices. Then we’ll steam
all voids in the wall using a dry vapor steam machine; Then we’ll remove
the outlets and switch cover plates; vacuum the electrical box; seal all
voids and install fire retardant foam insulations before replacing the
cover plates. Finally, we’ll apply Diatomaceous Earth powder (a natural
bed bug control dust) to all voids before sealing.
