Stripping
We’ll remove all sheets, blankets, mattress covers, pillowcases, etc. from your beds and place them in plastic bags for washing.
Emptying
Your closets must be empty. We’ll empty all dresser drawers, bookshelves, wall units, night stand drawers and other furniture located near
the bed(s). We’ll also remove all clothing, toys, boxes, etc from bedroom floors and all items beneath the bed(s).
All pictures and wall-hung itmes will be removed, vacuumed and bagged. Finally, we’ll take all of the above-mentioned items and carefully
place them in the living or other designated area until after your apartment has been treated by exterminators.
Laundering
We’ll wash all clothing, towels, and other linens and place them inside plastic bags. Before washing, we’ll sort the clothing
and place them in green-clean dissolvable bags. Placed directly into washing machines, these environmentally-friendly bags dissolve on contact with water,
greatly reducing spreading bug bugs to other areas of the building. Laundry will be stored in a designated living area for the duration of the treatment.
Vacuuming
Using hepa vacs, we’ll vacuum all bed frames, mattresses, box springs, furniture, and inside closets, dresser drawers, headboards and nightstands, chairs, rugs
and baseboards. We’ll even vacuum shoes before placing them in plastic bags. We’ll then place the vacuum bags in a sealed plastic bag
before discarding of them.
Encasing
We’ll encase all mattresses, box springs and pillows to prevent bed bugs seeking harborage in them and escaping from the same.

Disposal of Bed Bug Infested Items
At the Resident’s, Landlord and/or Property Manager’s request, we’ll dispose of bed bug infested items (sofas, beds, clothing, etc.).
Here’s how:
Protection of Workers
Our highly trained technicians are armed with hazmat suits, gloves, masks, drop cloths, vacuum cleaners, shrink wrap, plastic bags, furnture bags and
rubbing alcohol.
Protection of Common Areas
To avoid further infestations, we’ll cover the elevators and hallways floor with drop cloths.
Preparation of Items for Disposal
We’ll prepare items for disposal by spraying items that are being disposed of with alcohol; render clothing
unsalvageable by pouring bleach on it before bagging it; cut mattresses, and box springs with a box cutter and breaking furniture to an
irreparable state.
Finally, we’ll shrink wrap and/or bag the mattresses, box springs and furniture before removing it from the apartment.
Treatment of hallways, elevators and/or stairs
Before leaving, we’ll remove the drop cloths and vacuum the path taken to dispose of the bed bug infested items (halls, elevators and/or stairs).
Note: All necessary forms must be executed by the resident, Landlord and/or Property Manager prior to disposal of personal property.
